Helping the RAFBF make a difference
The RAF Benevolent Fund is the RAF’s leading welfare charity for all serving and former members as well as their partners and children.

The brief
I worked with Chris on the design of the RAFBF website. We focused on two clear calls to action, a simple donations process and offering help to those in need.
In providing access to a large volume of content, the information architecture and wireframing exercises ensured users would easily be able to find what they were looking for, without becoming overwhelmed by an excessive number of navigational options.
Chris is an intelligent designer who can deliver against business objectives as well as delivering a beautiful design. Responsive, collaborative and talented – a rare mix.

Tailored design process
Developing visual concepts with a client can be fraught with confusion. With a variety of techniques and tools available, what’s the best approach?
Tailor the design process to the needs of stakeholders and the project, the approach we took with RAFBF. Mood boards and posters explored early design concepts with information architecture and wireframe work running in parallel, each step presented, explained and iterated with the client to help them visualise the final product and feel a sense of ownership.
